Eclipse is gone!
It was a sad to return the car to Avis. My fondness for it was so much, that even though only two people can sit in that car, I still preferred to keep it. I was yelled at, so many times by my colleagues and friends to change to a bigger car, but still eclipse would be with me.
You can say this, because you never get to drive such a sporty car back in India. you may infact never even afford to buy that car in India, adding to it the expenses you will incur on it, once you hit the Indian roads.
A car in US, removes the dependency you will have for commutation. I had observed it, people become dependent on you.
This weekend, was tough and was boring even. Without the car you have to think multiple times to go out. Plus when you have room-mates from the southern part of the motherland, it becomes more difficult to boost them up. They are happy watching the Tamil/Telugu or whatever on their laptops.
But two good things happened-
1) I got my library card. It is a local public library. Now I catch up on some books over here.
2) I got to travel on the bus over here for the first time, in my stay of 5 months. Though the journeys are pretty long, but yeah you get to see some downtown area during the travel. One good way to watch the city.
